Our Story Thus Far

Our story begins in 2008 where a young 12 year old boy found not just his future wife, Sierra, but a lifelong passion for agriculture. In order to date the farmers daughter I had to work at the family farm. This is where my understanding of sustainable agriculture, stacking enterprises and soil health came together to plant a seed of inspiration in my heart. Throughout high school and college I worked hard to earn the hand of my bride and learn as much about farming as I could. This labor of love wasn't just for Sierra but for the life we dreamed of building together. Fast forward through years of growth, learning, and shared dreams, we tied the knot in 2017, and our love has since blossomed into a family of six with our four beautiful children: James, Juliana, Charlotte, and Charles.

In 2020, amidst a world of uncertainty, we planted our roots firmly into our own piece of earth, "The Shiloh Farm," marking the beginning of not just a homestead but a sanctuary where we could nurture our connection to the food we eat and the community we serve. Our farm has been a testament to the values we hold dear—education, community, and the unwavering bond of family. As I began to share our story and insights into homesteading and sustainable farming on social media, our community expanded, allowing me to transition into creating content full-time. As a farm influencer, I find joy in educating people worldwide about agriculture through the eyes of a first-generation producer.

Now as we stand on the cusp of our next great adventure, starting a ranch to raise livestock, we are filled with gratitude and excitement for the opportunity to deepen our commitment to the land that feeds us, the community that supports us, and the legacy we're building for our children. This endeavor that I've dreamt about for over a decade is not just about building a business; it's about creating a legacy and a brand that embodies our values and commitment to the land, which we hope to pass down to our children. Join us as we continue to grow and share our journey at The Shiloh Farm, where each day is an opportunity to embrace the wild and cultivate the future.
